Rosemary Rivas practices in Finkelstein Thompson's San Francisco office and focuses on antitrust, consumer fraud, and securities litigation. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 1997 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Rosemary received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 2000. While in law school, she served as the Senior Note Editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and was honored with the American Jurisprudence Award in Wills and Trusts.

If the videos of the way animals are slaughtered have not turned you into a vegetarian by now, perhaps the recent revelations of what a federal microbiologist coined “pink slime” will. I am by no means advocating a vegetarian lifestyle, but each person should know what he or she is eating, what their kids are eating, and what choices are available to them.
